We’re very excited to be hosting our very first Game Week, celebrating the best flavours from the great outdoors. Each of our main dishes has been expertly paired with a specific drink, carefully chosen to complement one another both in flavour and finish. Take our venison loin for example. Served with a mushroom & chestnut faggot, potato terrine, twiglets (yes twiglets) and a red wine sauce. Pair that with a Rioja Crianza from Spain and you’ll immediately notice how the earthy, umami flavours from the dish blend with dark berry notes from the wine.

Taste of Autumn

We suggest you begin with the pan-fried wood pigeon, served with spiced, pickled pear, blackberries and a roasted hazelnut dressing. It is (in our opinion) the exact taste of Autumn. It’ll take you right back to those days from the edge of Summer, scrambling through brambles, fingers purple from finding those delicious jewels amongst the hedgerow. As far as we’re concerned, blackberry picking is a British staple, which is why this dish is the perfect way to kick off your meal.

The menu itself will be available from November 4th, through to November 9th – perfect for before, after or during your bonfire night celebrations.
